Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted January 22, 2014 Posted January 22, 2014 Looking good mate! The Spanky kiss of death. I think he deserves a FatCow style title if they blow it...
Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted January 22, 2014 Posted January 22, 2014 so... can we make clarkson a healthy scratch till next year? Bodie had a great game tonight, I really hope he takes orr/mclaren's spot
Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted January 22, 2014 Posted January 22, 2014 Leafs tie the habs in points but montreal has 3 less games. If we can win against Dallas or Jets... huge road trip!
Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted January 22, 2014 Posted January 22, 2014 Longest winning streak since december 2005!
theblujay Verified Member Posted January 22, 2014 Posted January 22, 2014 6 games! Let's keep it going. The Leafs are picking it up just in time for the Raptors collapse
The Cats Ass Old-Timey Member Posted January 22, 2014 Posted January 22, 2014 And they'll beat it Thursday, too bad you weren't young enough to remember them opening the year 10-0, good times!! This made me look up some Leaf records. Did you know the all-time leader in save% is James Reimer...
Sammy225 Old-Timey Member Posted January 22, 2014 Posted January 22, 2014 Looks like there is one hell of a game taking shape for Saturday. I am personally excited for it. I could even smell and avatar bet in the making lol. Have not had one of those in a long time lol.
Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted January 22, 2014 Posted January 22, 2014 Preds acquire Del Zotto from Rangers for Klein Great trade for the Preds, I wouldn't give up on Del Zotto yet. Leafs couldn't do better than Klein? lol
Frag Verified Member Posted January 22, 2014 Posted January 22, 2014 This made me look up some Leaf records. Did you know the all-time leader in save% is James Reimer... That doesn't surprise me (though, it would blow Randy Carlyle's mind). I would be more interested in the all-time leader in SV%+ (SV% above average) in Leafs history. My guess would be Felix Potvin (since SV% was first recorded in the early 80s)

Or is it just a weird OPS+ish stat?

Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted January 24, 2014 Posted January 24, 2014 wow talk about answering back!
Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted January 24, 2014 Posted January 24, 2014 I'm really liking Bodie's play lately
Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted January 24, 2014 Posted January 24, 2014 I'm liking this Kadri Lupul and Kuli line. Agreed. A healthy lineup like this.. i like JVR-Bozak-Kessel Kulemin-Kadri-Lupul Clarkson-Bolland-Raymond Ashton/Smith-McClement-Bodie
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted January 24, 2014 Posted January 24, 2014 Good God that Penguins PP is insane. Crosby, Malkin, Kunitz, Neal, and Letang.
z3r0s Old-Timey Member Posted January 24, 2014 Posted January 24, 2014 Good God that Penguins PP is insane. Crosby, Malkin, Kunitz, Neal, and Letang. yeah that was pretty to watch.
Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted January 24, 2014 Posted January 24, 2014 Seguin for Eriksson was a good trade for the stars. Also, Orr is useless
Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted January 24, 2014 Posted January 24, 2014 It sure looks that way, but Loui has been dealing with concussion issues, he's a very good hockey player. We can both agree that Orr is useless?
Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted January 24, 2014 Posted January 24, 2014 Jesus, huge hole to climb out of!! Beat the Jets and the road trip is still a great success.
Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted January 24, 2014 Posted January 24, 2014 Thoughts of the stars posting a picture of Bieber and Ford with "Leafs Fan" during the beating last night. Funny, Fun Rivalry or Classless? http://www.sportsnet.ca/hockey/nhl/justin-bieber-rob-ford-dallas-stars-mock-toronto-maple-leafs-jumbotron/ Personally I think it's pretty classless when your're already destroying the team.. you would never see that at the ACC.. (pictures or a 7-1 win ) Not that big of a deal though
Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted January 24, 2014 Posted January 24, 2014 "The San Jose Sharks have agreed to three-year contract extensions with top forwards Patrick Marleau and Joe Thornton, according to ESPN's Pierre LeBrun. LeBrun reports Thornton's deal carries an average annual value of $6.75 million while Marleau's is worth $6.66 million per season. " Excellent job Sharks.
KingKat Old-Timey Member Posted January 24, 2014 Posted January 24, 2014 I liked the Bieber one but there wasn't even a joke to the Rob Ford one. Put some effort into your ribbing.
