McLaren, O'Byrne, keeping Gardiner in the AHL for too long, sweet f***ing Jesus has he been awesome so far! McLaren, O'Byrne, keeping Gardiner in the AHL for too long, sweet f***ing Jesus has he been awesome so far! It's kind of pathetic that Jake Gardiner and Matt Frattin weren't in the game 1 lineup. Both have played exceptionally well since drawing back in. Carlyle is so dumb. Not sure what the f***ing point of O'Byrne was. If we wanted to play another pylon scrub, we could have just called up Holzer and not waste a 4th.
havok24 Old-Timey Member Posted May 10, 2013 Posted May 10, 2013 Toronto guys going to root on Ottawa from now on? Hell, may as well just make your way to the darkside lol no thanks.

GD Old-Timey Member Posted May 10, 2013 Author Posted May 10, 2013 Come on Toronto let's not get embarrassed
GD Old-Timey Member Posted May 11, 2013 Author Posted May 11, 2013 I wish Gardiner hadn't missed that emptyish net, maybe Carlyle would realize how good the kid is, he looks plain amazing out there.
Jonzo Verified Member Posted May 11, 2013 Posted May 11, 2013 Remiers wife to dions wife, this was last game: https://vine.co/v/b2PFre2auF5
havok24 Old-Timey Member Posted May 11, 2013 Posted May 11, 2013 Leafs played very well in the first 40 but the last 20 was all James Reimer.
GD Old-Timey Member Posted May 11, 2013 Author Posted May 11, 2013 Leafs played very well in the first 40 but the last 20 was all James Reimer. Reimer was insane. Probably had the save of the playoffs, too.

I don't know if that was luck or skill but holy crap we needed it. Did anyone see Grabo's trick shot flip over the back of the net that he tried to swat out of the air? If it had gone in (and if it was not a high stick) that would have been a top 10 highlight of the year. lol

Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted May 11, 2013 Posted May 11, 2013 GO LEAFS GO!!! That was an intense third period..
GD Old-Timey Member Posted May 11, 2013 Author Posted May 11, 2013 The toe save on Bergeron. Good god that was incredible. This is what I was talking about, the Jagr save was huge, but this might be the best save of the playoffs so far.

Fun to watch It's amazing to watch, I can't remember the last time we had not only a #1, but a #1 of this quality. Tukka Rask keeps trolling the Leafs. John Ferguson Jr can go f*** himself, lol.
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted May 11, 2013 Posted May 11, 2013 Not a huge hockey fan, but went to the Halifax Mooseheads clincher last night. Tried to get to as many games as I could this year to see MacKinnon/Drouin/Fucale. Pretty amazing to think three first rounders (and 2/3 of the top three picks in the draft) play for the same junior team. I remember going to some games back in the day when Lecavalier and Richards were both on Rimouski... but this was a lot of cooler. Drouin has some of the sickest hands I have ever seen. It was such a heated series. Baie Comeau HATE MacKinnon (he was drafted 1st overall by them and refused to play there).
Frag Verified Member Posted May 11, 2013 Posted May 11, 2013 John Ferguson Jr can go f*** himself, lol. Ironically, JFJ also got us James Reimer.
GD Old-Timey Member Posted May 11, 2013 Author Posted May 11, 2013 Ironically, JFJ also got us James Reimer. And Frattin, no? JFJ can still go f*** himself lol, we essentially traded Coture for Toskala.

GD Old-Timey Member Posted May 12, 2013 Author Posted May 12, 2013 Come on down to Ottawa and enjoy our crappy little village! FTFY loool.
GD Old-Timey Member Posted May 12, 2013 Author Posted May 12, 2013 Ottawa is rated as the best place to live in Canada, and in the Summer it's unbeatable. Always something to do If the Leafs get bounced you can get some great prices on playoff tickets, go white water rafting, see the orchestra, and wine and dine at some of the finest lounges in the country. You don't want to miss it It's fairly nice just boring and quiet. It's nice for people who want to live in the city but not somewhere big like Toronto. I have family there and if the Leafs and Sens meet, I'm going to go see a game down there with some family.
GD Old-Timey Member Posted May 12, 2013 Author Posted May 12, 2013 Only boring people think Ottawa is boring. hahah you probably complain about Toronto being too loud an busy Toronto is a corporate POS lol. Always loved this: http://www.downgoesbrown.com/2009/04/tyler-bozak-ottawa-toronto.html

GD Old-Timey Member Posted May 13, 2013 Author Posted May 13, 2013 Colborne in to replace him. Anyone seen how he's doing? I haven't really been paying attention
declan_44 Verified Member Posted May 13, 2013 Posted May 13, 2013 Game 4 was amazing hockey. Since then it has been poor control by Toronto and Boston throwing the puck in the vicinity of Reimer without aiming particularly.
dineke Old-Timey Member Posted May 13, 2013 Posted May 13, 2013 Kessel > Seguin this series, looks like the leafs won that trade lol.
