    Whether or not the front office has decided if they are buyers or sellers, I hope to goodness they have eleven feeling out their trade options. It does take time, but they should always be on the phone. The other question is what are the Jays expectations? If the goal is to make a run and squeak back into the postseason, then sure, go ahead and buy. If, on the other hand, the goal is to build a legitimate WS contender, then there needs to be further building. Just because current players are good doesn’t mean they’d be a part of a championship team. I’d rather see a longer-term plan, rather than short-term moves for a dubious playoff run.
