    I'm not talking about pitching though. Our pitching has been fine despite injuries, but our offense on the other hand, a lot of healthy players are not performing. Gimenz, Springer and Vladdy combined about $80M of payroll and only have 1.5 fWAR all together.

    Our problem is mainly due to offense struggles, so I don't know having Kirk and Barger return would fix our batters underperforming.

    I don't think a 4 run lead was a high leverage. Coughman shouldn't be on the mound in the 9th.

    The sad thing is we would've won this game 5-1 if Hoffman pitched in the 8th and Varland in the 9th. For some reason, Hoffman cannot pitch in the 9th the way he pitches in the 7th/8th.
