  1. What's the difference? I'm pretty sure they want to sign Bo, sign a SP and a reliever, doesn't matter how that rolls out. Just Git R Dun!!!
  2. 2nd year Arb, he'll get like 2.5M.
  3. He'll opt for FA.
  4. He doesn't deserve Judge money, imo is all. The 2nd half of that contract is what makes me uneasy. Pay Bo and a stud reliever for that AAV he'll get, I'm comfortably in no thanks at that term.
  5. I'm using Fangraphs payroll chart... 6. Estimated payroll is at 233M right now after Bieber opting in, thankfully. That's 70M without bringing in a reliever that you mentioned, it's well over the final CBT at 304M, they don't need Okamoto with Clement/Barger/Santander/Lukes et al on this roster.
  7. And that also brings the payroll to 300M+, lol. I think we should temper our expectations a bit. 😜
  8. This attempt would be after we miss out on bigger fish, right? Like Bo or Belli... I don't think Tucker's worth 10/400M that money makes me uneasy.
  9. I edit my post after looking at the projections. I'd be surprised if they protect a reliever at his age and injury history, we'll find out Tuesday.
  10. Yeah, Jonn's out to lunch, he's projected as a 2.2 Win player by Steamer600.
  11. I'm guessing the Jays will protect Tiedemann, Kasevich and Pinango on the 40 at Tuesday's deadline. I believe Arias and Duran are safe from being selected with their age and level. What do you guys think? Oops... I see it was discussed earlier, Longenhagen never mentioned 2 of those guys? Hmm... maybe I'm wrong. IDK. Actually Steamer600 doesn't project them very well. I get it.
  12. That, or they didn't like what they saw during his rehab.
  13. Nutting is the worst.
  14. We're talking about a 5th OF'er here, lol.
  15. Nobody likes prospect porn???
  16. Going forward Clase > Straw... simply cause of the money, Jays need to shed that contract. He put up 1.8 War last season I'm sure someone will take it on at a reduced amount, plus there's two team options to go with that. Low budget team could make due with him.
  17. See again, unhinged. What the f*** does politics have to do with team success? Ross just brought the Jays 2 outs from a WS crown... the best since Pat Gillick. And you're out here huffing and puffing like a tool.
  18. Why do you always say this when you're in a rage, man? Seek help.
  19. If we were to spend big money on a closer, Edwin's the man, don't get much more consistent than him. Williams was great under the hood, I agree if we can get him on a discount that would be pretty sexy as well.
