    D’ya know, I was giving Clement a pass in that line up (6-9 doesn’t look great) but Ernie (don’t get me wrong, I like him) has no place hitting 5th on any good team

    I was a believer a couple of games ago, we were making the post season, but how are we suppose to do that with that line up?

    It’s become a difficult situation, the current results are unacceptable but something seems off, he’s better than his recent results and lacks overall experience. Although if the goal is postseason and beyond then we need the ‘get it done’ team not the ‘try hard team’

    The guy does have a decent history, if he’s found his feet like it looks like he has, it’s a great find.

    You could wonder how much of a difference a 3B coach really makes but Fables really does seem to stand out in making good decisions. Even Vladdy going 1st to 3rd, replay shows Fables pointing and telling Vladdy where the ball is - small things but important things.

    Shame, Lauer was a strike away from a nice inning there. Need some innings from him but need him to be better than giving up a run per inning.

    MLB tv just cut my coverage of JB being inducted into Canadian hall of fame 😢. I flew from Scotland and watched him flip his bat in that 7th inning live. It’s the single greatest thing I’ve ever seen in sport (and I live in a pretty sports crazy city, Glasgow)

    For sure, but its a bit more confusing for Hoffman than others but I can’t work out why teams don’t seem to miss every mistake we make.

    Heineman is worth his weight in gold right now on both sides of the ball. I just hope this lasts. Springer with a MASSIVE homer and Barger becoming something in front of our eyes, this is how we can make a genuine challenge.

    Yes! I’m starting to believe guys! We’re a flawed team but if we can keep this fight up and finding a way to win, that’s what makes a winner.

    I still think Hoffman is nasty and closer stuff but why are we riding this rollercoaster

    Definitely, it’s what I don’t think we do often enough, get to the other teams big guys. It’s what makes the difference from contenders and pretenders.

    I’m giving massive props to Heiny there, being in scoring position for Vladdy (after 101 fastball) is just brilliant
