    Francis looks a bit Jekyll and Hyde right now, good 1st inning, then gives up the homer with runner on. Settles down and throws some nice pitches to finish.

    Honestly, need to stop the dumb plays. Bo swings at a pitch 2 ft outside but somehow gets on base only to be picked off on routine throw over.

    SN just showed stats that Gausman has ERA of 3.51 thru 100games as a Jay which is only just behind Stieb and Halladay at 3.42 and 3.43. That’s quite impressive whichever way you cut it.

    Awkward when command is erratic one minute then 100 on outside corner the next.

    His curve seems to play up vs lefties but bit of a poor effort there not to score a few.

    Williams has been hit around a bit this season but we’ve already seen him painting 100 at the knees. Please can he just hang a curve?

    Like it or not, good teams grind out at bats with slap hitters like Kwan. How annoying is he to face as the opposing team?

    Keep me right here but did anyone actually see a proper tag on Lukes?

    We’re just looking for some sort of contribution from Lukes but to see he’s batting 7th just shows the lack of offense depth we have.

    Yeah, would’ve been nice if we at least looked threatening and put it in play.

    We had the opportunity to do the same with Fried, who had no idea where it was going then the Yankees schooled us in what to do with base loaded and an erratic pitcher.

    Monumentally stupid decision leaving Gausman in, literally waited and watched until the game was out of reach. It was getting more and more predictable with every pitch.

    Cost ourselves an extra run with botched play in the outfield. Can’t afford that whilst not taking our own chances

    Because we make excuses and say it’s too early until the point of no return. We watch until it’s slapping everyone in the face and at that point it’s too late. As JD said, it’s not the try league, it’s the get things done league!
