    Just to put it on the record but I like Addison Barger. Taking great ABs, power when he hits and that arm is hard not to like at 3B.

    Fair point, it’s just a bit frustrating because it must be hard to pull Fisher when you’re looking for at least an inning from him. Just highlights the depth issue we have, feels like the As are there for the taking and we’re giving them a chance!

    Great play by Lucas, now we need to tighten this up and score some more runs.

    We could call this some bad luck given his start to the season but we’ve got to be kidding ourselves if we’re trying to be legit contenders and wheeling out a Brandon Fisher.

    Riding some no mark guy we’ve decided to use as an opener - 5 runs later…. Gonna boat race a crap As team is the strategy apparently.

    Should’ve been out at home by a mile, how have we managed to give up a run there?

    At the risk of getting shot down by others, that last inning just highlights a big issue we suffer from. We watch the other team grind and make things difficult, take advantage of our mistakes and adapt/hit according to the situation. We step up and blindly hit into double plays and give away 3outs in 4 pitches.

    You’re right, Lowe is not flying under the radar in terms of power, yet we keep letting him get us! Just repeating the same mistakes over and over I think is why everyone is frustrated watching it.

    Frustrating is the right word, the homers against guys like Lowe, offence that disappears and then mental mistakes on top.

    I’m genuinely trying to work out what we’re doing/not doing/tipping, as this giving up multi-run homers is getting exhausting. Feels like almost every mistake pitch (plus a few others) are leaving the park.

    Arraez was always gonna be the issue there - literally asking him to do the thing he’s best at. Bloop it anywhere.
