  1. Sanchez comes through in his first big spot batting second.
  2. It's hard to understand some of the narratives regarding Sanchez. How is it that some view him as the LF starter vs RHP over Lukes? The only thing that Sanchez has over Lukes is power but everything else favours Lukes. Like I said last year, when Lukes bats second, the offence hums. Better on base and contact skills (by quit a bit). Defensively, Sanchez is not in the same league as Lukes. His arm is better but Sanchez couldn't track a deep fly ball if his life depended on it.
  3. Lukes needs to be on the roster, run Jiminez through waivers and cross your fingers. Kasevich will suffice as a bench middle infielder in the event Jiminez gets claimed. This position can also easily be solidified at the trade deadline.
  4. Varsho going to have a big year if he keeps driving those pitches on the outer half the other way.
  5. Rogers doesn't look all that bad, nothing straight.
  6. I'm being recklessly optimistic but from what I've read, his hit tool is Seagerish and really advanced for his age.
  7. I can see Jojo Parker rocket up through the system this coming season and become an impact bat by mid season 2027.
  8. We already have a younger cheaper version of Seager with Jojo
  9. Would a Yesavage and Barger package land Jackson Chourio or am I way off?
  10. Bo's defence is below average
  11. Is going after Bellinger if a Tucker deal doesn't materialize a realistic possibility? He can play a decent CF also as insurance with Varsho. I haven't been digging in as much as the rest of you.
  12. Yeah he's gone, especially with Shatkins' emphasis on team chemistry.
  13. I agree.. Let's see if the key factor of keeping him off his feet for the most part of the season will keep him fresh enough in having another good year, even at 36 he's in great shape.
  14. Nice signing..
  15. Ross didn't sign Vladdy for starters and Biggio sucked and still sucks. Saying that Manoah is a solid MLB pitcher is ludicrous. The best move Ross has made was hiring Pop.
  16. Lol.. So when someone has a different opinion on how this team had been managed the past ten years, you resort to personal attacks. Typical for a boot licking lib like yourself, so transparent. It's not that difficult in grabbing one of the SEVEN playoff spots that are available with a top five MLB payroll. You're sad..
  17. "pools of talent will be flowing through the system that will keep the team competitive for years".. Ross Atkins I saw no pools of talent being developed over the last 10 years and NOT ONE solid MLB pitcher had been developed in the 10 years under Shatkins. Thank goodness for a top five payroll, otherwise let's be honest. Prior to the WS run, can someone please remind me of the other successful playoff years? Just curious.
  18. Not too loud Ross might hear you and sign another IKF scrub for $15M
