  1. At least I can move goal posts better than the Blue Jays can move base runners.
  2. Exactly which is why they need to give Santander and Bregman what they want but Rogers doesn't care about winning games, It's all about getting asses in over priced seats and selling over priced merchandise. They'll only spend money if it's a big name that will make them money.
  3. He's not a 36 year old free agent but he will be next time he is a free agent.
  4. This is exactly what he and every other big name free agent that the Blue Jays go after does.
  5. Dude is going to be 36 before spring straining starts. I'm going to laugh when the Blue Jays sign him and after a few starts he's out for the season.
  6. It's ludicrous because someone new to the "old boys club" said it.
  7. if you say it, it's an intellectual assessment of the team. When someone that's new says it, it's "mindless ranting". Either way. I'm not wrong.
  8. Meanwhile every second post from you guys includes the word "Shatkins" which is incredibly positive. Let's face it the front office sucks and no one wants to sign with the Blue Jays because of it. But yea I'm the only negative poster on this.
  9. Come on man it's the same thing every year from that front office. They always put their eggs in one basket, make a sub par offer, the player signs elsewhere, then they sign a few scraps last minute. You can call me a "ray of sunshine" but I"m not wrong.
  10. Yea his career has been mediocre, now he's 35 so he's Blue Jays material now.
  11. A washed up 35 year old pitcher with a career ERA of 3.74. They might have a shot with him.
  12. Another sub par offer, another player that signs elsewhere.
  13. You're probably right about the weak dollar cutting down the payroll. Not to mention high taxes in Canada and a possible tax decrease in the USA has players not wanting to sign with the Blue Jays. Let's not forget the CRA has a history of harassing former Blue Jays players years after they've left Canada.
