    It seems insane to me. There's a ton of questions. Is he a slam-dunk to make the roster? Can he play defense at all? How much will his already poor range be diminished by a bum knee? If he DH's how is Springers knee? Does Springer hurt you less in the outfield than Bichette does in the infield? If Springer plays the field how much does it hurt his bat? Maybe he's just a bench player? Who knows?

    Varsho is due for one of his hot streaks where he hits a bunch of bombs. Tomorrow would be a great time to start.

    It looks like the Dodgers might get Tanner Scott and his sore a$$ back for this series. He wasn't very good for the Dodgers this year but 4.0 war last year and 3.9 in 2023. Like Dave Roberts needs any more weapons. If he's rostered I wonder if he slots back in at closer?

    Ed Sprague was one of my favorite players back then. The mentality to "take one for the team" doesn't seem to exist as much anymore. He would trade a bruise for 1st base anytime.

    That's a definite possibility although one is a LHH outfielder and the other a RHH infielder. The thinking may be a little different now that they don't have to worry about the next series. They may roster Bo over IKF or Schneider and replace him if he re-aggravates his knee. It'll be interesting to see what roster and lineup decisions they do make. So many questions. Can Bo play short? Can Springer play the outfield? Do you want to lose the defense Giminez provides even against a tough lefty like Snell? I guess we'll find out soon enough.

    So youre saying there's a chance??!! We'll be heavy underdogs in this series, but that's the beautiful thing about baseball. It often defies the odds. It would be nice if we could avoid digging ourselves a hole this series and win the first 2 at home.

    What a great game!! This will go down as of the best Jays games ever. What can you say about George Springer? He was so far down last year, to come back the way he has and to culminate with that moment tonight was unreal. I think Jeff Hoffman deserves some love too. 35 stressful pitches last night and to come back tonight the way he did is incredible. It takes a special kind of person to be a closer. He has nerves of steel. He didn't just get the job done but struck out the side!
