    I'm just worried about out a letdown (and hangover) after a celebration. If they celebrate a playoff clinch will they celebrate again for an AL East clinch? Or AL top spot clinch? Or both? They're so much better at home than the road that top spot in the AL needs to be the goal. Home ice advantage through the ALCS and even the WS if Milwaukee or Philly don't get there.

    I hope they don't do anything silly like celebrate if this happens. They should save the celebration for clinching top spot in the AL. Taking the foot off the gas is the worst thing they could do IMO. They'll get enough rest if they earn the bye. Maybe too much.

    The Rays having 3 runs they didn't deserve made us empty the bullpen completely though. That could come into play the next few days.

    His 10 day IL stint is up tomorrow so the timing seems right. Schneider keeps saying he feels better than the imaging shows so I think you're right about his desire to play. Getting him back and swinging that bat sooner than later is huge, no matter what some people keep saying about his defense and sprint speed.

    Just watched it on Jays in 30. That was a brutal call. He absolutely deserved the immaculate inning there. Laz Diaz owes him an apology!

    Yes. It seems like since Buck Showalter got roasted for following the rules everything changed. Buck did the right thing it just didn't work out that day.

    Why does everyone seem to use their closer now in a tie game on the road in the ninth? It seems senseless to me. Who is going to close the game if you take the lead now? It was always the rule NOT to use your closer in this situation. I don't get it.

    IKF shouldn't be commenting on: 1 - the post-season when they haven't clinched anything yet. 2 - anything to do with Bo's availability when the team hasn't said much officially yet. He should have kept his mouth shut!
