    This team would be a whole lot better if Vladdy and Kirk's bats didn't turn to mush. Not sure how Guillermo Martinez wasn't fired in the offseason.

    If YRod and Ricky T. turn out to be the real deal the Jays good be a nice spot to move some pitching for a bat or really good hitting propects. A nice bonus too if Manoah can turn things around a bit and be a decent MLB arm though I wouldn't count on it. Long term it could be best for the Jays if they are out of it at the trade deadline and someone is desperate for pitching help. However I don't have a lot of faith in Atkins making the right moves.

    I would get the love the Jays have for playing the handedness match ups a lot more if our left handed batters were actually good hitters vs righties instead of being just slightly less bad. I guess we will see how it goes.
