I agree. He would look great great for a bit then he would lose his control for a few batters but the hitters were completely whiffing on his slider which I haven't seen for a year. He looked much worse in the 4th inning then the first three. They probably should have yanked him at the first sign of trouble when his pitch count started to get up there but I guess that would be easier to do if the bullpen didn't totally suck.
