  1. I am once again asking why is Vogelbach on this team?
  2. I think Davis looks more like Mr. Raditch.
  3. I don't know. There are for sure some organization decisions that have to be driven by analytics but team is strangely both very slow to react to short terms trends and also not very good at thinking long term either. For example the team seems to have a strategy to pull starters fairly early and use bullpen arms. They do this because the stats show pitchers are much worse facing batters the third time around. Seems like a great plan and worked well last year but now on year 2 of said plan all the bullpen arms are dead. And the arms are extra taxed because the team has no offense and every appearances is high leverage.
  4. Yea I would love to see what is really going on behind the scenes. Often it feels like they are just out smarting themselves. They are trying really hard to push some small edges and it's just falls apart because the game is actually played on the field by real people playing 162 game seasons.
  5. Vogelbach should have never made the team to begin with. Don't know why they decided to throw away $2M. It feels like a complete lack of faith in their prospects.
  6. FWIW 7 months of development time at that age can make a huge difference. From what I've read on him before he was drafted is that he has bust potential because he has trouble hitting breaking balls. However his swing has crazy power so if he figures that out he could be the real deal. He seems like a true boom or bust prospect. The good thing is, he is young so there's plenty of time to get in more at bats and one month of playing tells us next to nothing.
  7. It's so nice to see the bats creating some offense. Very nice win.
  8. Extend Jano you cowards!
  9. They've done it! Story checks out.
  10. Opposite field singles hitter Vladimir Guerrero Junior!
  11. At least Babe is good. He is racking up doubles ever since he changed his stance. No home runs lately though.
  12. If the activity in this GTD is anything to go by, Blue Jays attendance is about the drop off hard. This team is hard to watch.
  13. Bo bomb. His second of the year. Hopefully that gets him going.
  14. Can the Jays score 4 runs in a game?
  15. Miraculously everyone pitches well when they face the Blue Jays.
  16. I don't like this.
  17. great catch!
  18. It must be JS making the lineups because pencil pushing spreadsheet stat nerds aren't this stupid.
  19. Babe is a doubles machine.
