  1. Buehler, Buehler.......
  2. I don't get it also, we trying to play the splits with every position....
  3. 3 fastballs and a breaking ball to get the K. Old school
  4. yes to your first question, would have to check but probably not that reliable since sample size is extremely small
  5. both pens are going to be challenged today
  6. both pitchers aren't getting that low strike
  7. Yankees/CWS in extras....Yankees have run into 2 outs at home plate lol but still lead 5 - 2 heading into the bottom of the 11th
  8. Should have gone after a legit high leverage arm/closer. Varland was like 3rd on the depth chart behind Duran and Jaxx. The Nats had a legit closer in Kyle Finnegan, could have had him for nothing, couple of no names; he's been money in Detroit. But Atkins has to do it his way.. Control. SMH Finnegan/Bednar would have bin a great get Hoffman/Finnegan/Bednar
  9. Good point and I think in general yes. I also went back and checked a few plays (checked about 50 actually 2024/2025) and found only 3 similar balls hit to Ernie - he made 2 didn't make one (great diving grab to his right and got the ball to 1st but a runner was safe) - I didn't account for other variables like hit distance, exit velo and batter/runner speed. Don't think we lose with him playing 3rd
  10. Great play by Barger, does Ernie get the ball to 1st?
  11. the question that i've always had is are they doing anything organizationally on the pitching side? at least Popkins might have some influence at the lower levels on the hitting side but that's not even clear. Need consistent messaging/philosophy at all levels
  12. 90+ pitches coming off an injury....don't know might have been predetermined pitch count
  13. Very strange s*** from Vlady, Peralta is messing with batters timing he should know that if he was watching the game
  14. Excellent AB, didn't swing at the high fastballs and swung through a pretty good pitch by Peralta. He was on him though...
  15. This the "A" lineup? to me it is, I'd rather have Babe's pop than Clements contact
  16. OAA doesn't work well for first basemen lol
  17. didn't expect this, they moved him to the pen recently. Wow
