Both can be true, the Dodgers have a great development system (arguably the best) and a history of promoting many prospects. Will Smith, Andy Pages, Sheehan, Kershaw are homegrown plus numerous prospects knocking on he door. The league is littered with ex-Dodger prospects all performing really well: Michael Busch, Miguel Vargas, Corey Seager, Bellinger, McKinstry. On top of that Muncy was developed at the major level and in previous seasons - Justin Turner and Chris Taylor. I can go on..... -
