  1. I want see Jay Jackson in higher leverage situations - he's passed the test and deserves to be challenged a little more
  2. The Jays 100% have a responsibility and in fact have all the resources to help - the player has to be on board though obviously
  3. lol Not easily doable unfortunately, the way he formats it makes it a pain in the ass to just copy and paste the list. Here's the top 10 in order: Jackson Holliday, SS, Baltimore Orioles Jackson Chourio of mil Marcelo Mayer, SS, Boston Red Sox Ethan Salas, C, San Diego Padres Junior Caminero 3b/ss rays Dylan Crews, OF, Washington Nationals Jordan Lawlar, SS, Arizona Diamondbacks Brayan Rocchio, SS, Cleveland Guardians Jackson Merrill, SS, San Diego Padres Evan Carter, OF, Texas Rangers
  4. Marlins never won under him, he was better with the Dodgers but still never won, who knows really - not every ex player no matter how good automatically makes a good field manager
  5. I would have sent Merrifield, you got your fly ball.
  6. Teo taking this personally
  7. Kirk and Chapman last season led the Jays with pitches per at bat. AS you can see ...Kirk still has it
  8. It's Pearson....not the pitch selection but the quality of the pitches. He needs to be moved to another team
  9. I have it on in the background.....I fully expected Gausman was good to for the 7th but nothing surprises me with this management. 87 pitches he should be just getting warmed up. Musgrove the other day went 109 against us
  10. Yea. That was brutal
  11. He's a free agent in 2024 and this is something players look forward to, it can set them up financially for life. So, he will likely go to the highest bidder
  12. It's a big problem - league wide. Some form of Robo umps is on the way Will probably similar to video review where teams can challenge a called strike, it's being tested now in the minors
  13. Chapman is such a treat to watch, we should all enjoy him while we can
  14. I'll be honest here Gilbert is getting squeezed
  15. I swear we're at Rogers Centre
  16. KK bomb off Gilbert lol
  17. I hate that view - like did they test it out and ask people? no way anyone prefers that view over the regular cameras
  18. he leads Jansen in his framing numbers if that's what you referring to and he's also one of the best in the majors - gone down a little this season but that's more to do with not getting consistent playing time so 100% Kirk is the better receiver
  19. If I had my choice I'd take Kirk because of his superior receiving skills, alot of the game calling (and planning) isn't even in the catchers hands, still done from the dugout. Reading bats is another matter and much more difficult to judge.
  20. yea AA left for sure on his own because IIRC he was offered a contract
  21. it doesn't matter as much as people think, they will just go out and hire another Martinez. I guess at best it would be a new voice, hitting approaches ...etc go to the heart of the organizations' hitting philosophy. But I agree the struggles are real and something needs to be done
  22. You can call it a graceful departure
  23. "Ultimately, we decided it was time for a new approach, a new voice," general manager Ross Atkins said. he was fired
