  1. ah... What about Minter? where is waving from?
  2. ok continue...
  3. Braves FO are a step ahead of us.... What if Iglesias goes down? now you have a late inning pitcher you can throw into leverage situations What if Johnson gets an important out or 2 during the post season? either nail down a game or even to clinch a series. I'm sure it would be worth giving up those specs AA is well aware of the limitations of a pitcher like this. That's all this deal is
  4. Let's see, Why do you think the Braves made this deal?
  5. AA is wonderful
  6. and that's valuable
  7. I like him as a decent back of the pen arm and he didn't cost that much - it's early in the tdl so I'm bored. Hopefully we get some good news on signings in the coming days
  8. I know. The Braves have no clue.
  9. Maybe a deal you do in the off season, right now we're supposed to be adding to take a run at it, not re-tooling
  10. Yes. He has alot of closing experience and keep in mind he pitched in Colorado as the primary closer, he'd be a good addition to any team looking to augment the back-end of the pen - ie. exactly what we need here.
  11. Braves acquire Pierce Johnson for 2 minor leaguers. Could have been a good arm to close out games when Romano isn't available Braves farm isn't even that great but AA still got it done
  12. Please start Ryu against the Dodgers - that would be kind of exciting to watch
  13. Pitcher needs to step first then throw to first, never throw off the back foot which is what Campbell did - ball will sail
  14. Espinal is the better fielder he's a natural shortstop, I have no idea about the mental errors
  15. Exactly As soon Schneider brings in Biggio and Espinal into the game defense is trashed
  16. I'm beginning to think even Raleigh is a better catcher than Jansen - he's not getting any calls for Manoah, brutal
  17. Merrifield man.....that ball goes through is a different inning
  18. This is a really good sign
  19. Belli is having himself quite a season, not going to be a cheap rental if he keeps this up
  20. ...even that, how does one explain Varsho batting clean-up earlier in the season when he's NEVER done it before
  21. I want see Jay Jackson in higher leverage situations - he's passed the test and deserves to be challenged a little more
  22. The Jays 100% have a responsibility and in fact have all the resources to help - the player has to be on board though obviously
  23. lol Not easily doable unfortunately, the way he formats it makes it a pain in the ass to just copy and paste the list. Here's the top 10 in order: Jackson Holliday, SS, Baltimore Orioles Jackson Chourio of mil Marcelo Mayer, SS, Boston Red Sox Ethan Salas, C, San Diego Padres Junior Caminero 3b/ss rays Dylan Crews, OF, Washington Nationals Jordan Lawlar, SS, Arizona Diamondbacks Brayan Rocchio, SS, Cleveland Guardians Jackson Merrill, SS, San Diego Padres Evan Carter, OF, Texas Rangers
  24. Marlins never won under him, he was better with the Dodgers but still never won, who knows really - not every ex player no matter how good automatically makes a good field manager
