  1. Of course, I've mentioned his conditioning in my posts, Jays have all the resources in the world - they probably left well enough alone thinking he would continue where he left off last season - clearly not the case. If he comes into camp next season looking like he does now and underperforms again then we have a problem. Also, no guarantees we sign Jansen in 2025 - he's going to the highest bidder -as he should.
  2. He only hits 3/4 times a game, the rest of the time he spends being a really good receiver. You completely ignored that. He's 24, go look at Jansen at 24
  3. and not to mention the value - for years to come - of a deep postseason run
  4. Yea it would be great for baseball I just doubt they have enough to make a run, Gio barely moves the needle
  5. I think Kirk's bat is for real minus the power add in his receiving skills, he just needs to get that body in shape because it's unacceptable - team has all the resources ffs
  6. Yep. I guess they can afford to let Quero go since O’Hoppe is probably the future for them, still.
  7. lol what are they doing? that's their #3 and #4 prospects for a rental
  8. We've finally seen the last of Trent Thornton. I wonder what Aledmys Diaz is upto these days?
  9. wow. Yea I missed all that. I can see why the Astros would be upset at Alvarez getting plunked
  10. Manoah and Ryu can fight it out for the final spot in the rotation, tbh how much can we really expect from Ryu anyway
  11. This is what the Dodgers do, watch Rosario go on a run. Thor's time was coming to end in LA so....
  12. what an organization, I really thought they were on the way to improving once Scioscia left - but nope
  13. Garcia with a 457' no doubter grand slam, benches and dugouts clear....nothing. This is only the bottom of the 5th
  14. lmfao Nothing changed between a few days ago and this announcement of him now being off the market
  15. JJ should be rested enough from his 2 inning stint in game 1 to be available
  16. Atkins cringing thinking about Jansen's arb contract
  17. would like to see it but I'm willing to bet he won't do what he's doing now batting clean-up
  18. Merrifield man ...why is Kikuchi still in the game?
  19. Even if he's not melting still gets pulled
  20. Every team uses spot starters at one point or another
  21. True, still relevant just not totally on Schneider having a quick hook
  22. Some interestin stats on Innings Pitched / Games Started Jays are tied with the Nats with the lowest IP/GS at 5.2 overall in the league Gausman #11 6.1 Berrios #17 5.9 Bassitt #30 5.8
