  1. Kinda like Chisholm's home run trot - wow was that a blast off Yardborough How come other teams don't get s*** on for home run celebrations ? last season the jacket was headline news here - it's all anyone ever talked about
  2. when do the points get posted? what's the tie breaker?
  3. he's hardly that
  4. That is the play. Should have been done years ago but it's obviously not Atkins' style
  5. Manoah placed on temporarily inactive list in Buffalo https://www.sportsnet.ca/mlb/article/blue-jays-manoah-placed-on-temporarily-inactive-list-in-buffalo/
  6. ...give him time to settle in
  7. It's the Dodger way, they just promoted to AAA, it's how they do things
  8. That Oriole lineup ....Gunnar with a 3 run shot to put them up 6 - 2 over the Angels
  9. oh yea not even close to either of those teams, right now it looks like they'll play the Phillies
  10. yea right around the Beli trade rumors they went on an 8 game winning streak, then decided to change course
  11. Yea those numbers really stand out. Just not seeing too many Jays improving from season to season wtf are they doing in the off season? if he can improve that arm just a bit it can work at 3B as long as the bat holds. I'm sure Atkins is thinking about starting him in 2024 - if they do I'd rather see him at 3B than 2B (it's probably Schneiders to lose) - even though he turned the dp nicely today I don't think his range is good. His weaknesses won't be noticed as much at 3B. and keep him out of the outfield
  12. Biggio reminds me a little of David Freese - average all around, late bloomer 2nd half Biggio OBP .400!!
  13. Players can improve - not sure if he can every be a starter but the important thing is he's delivering
  14. noodle arm Biggio turned that really nicely
  15. even the major league rule - I see now, with video review they can confirm if the ball is lodged or not so no need for the outfielder to signal with his arm
  16. Agree. It's definitely a factor can even be the factor
  17. So normally the outfielder needs to put his arm up to signal the ball is stuck.....did he do that? I didn't see
  18. So the way I look at it is a pitcher can be quicker to home simply by slightly changing his delivery, catchers cannot improve pop times - rare.
  19. If he brings a big bat why not
  20. LOL I know. Just watch though - I doubt he's going anywhere because he's under team control
  21. He definitely needs to get in shape, I'm sure the Jays left him alone after his silver slugger season, same what they did with Manoah and now they're paying for it
  22. The video review that takes 5 mins to check if a runner is out or safe at 2B - is exactly that difference. It makes a difference - everything makes a difference, pitcher slide step combined with catcher pop time combined with catcher throwing. It adds up. Catcher pop time is an important scouting grade for catchers
  23. he has a better pop time than Jansen
