  1. Kody Clemens walk-off grand slam yesterday, they were down by 3 so that was exciting - will have to enjoy more non Blue Jays games down the stretch
  2. Varsho makes sense here, he's currently a 4 so he replaces the injured Adolis - well except for the noodle arm
  3. Lauer is looking pretty good, again. His LA numbers are almost identical to 2025 Working on a QS, 1 hit, 4k's after 6
  4. The Astros could use another bat, Springer? he'd have to be ok playing the field though
  5. Little got it home quick and BV gunned Nunez down.
  6. It's too bad Pinagano is absolutely useless in the field
  7. Yea it's not like we haven't seen that before (in baseball terms no necessarily on this team). Players flame out all the time
  8. I think teams would have been hesitant anyway to give up alot for Bieber but his value just went down ever further BV has to play everyday, those wild swings are as a result of inconsistent playing times
  9. I thought for sure they were correct but it wasn't even that close
  10. Louis and Gus Varland out for the ground rules - pretty cool moment
  11. fractured https://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2026/07/red-sox-to-place-curtis-mead-on-injured-list.html
  12. Mead HBP in his 2d AB, took a pitch off his left hand and pulled from the game
  13. Game starts off really slow but the action picks up, the teams are short on arms so this is mostly in the hands of the bullpens - lots of pitching changes. Throwing the ball to 1st (to try and get the runner) from RF was a thing in 1952, tried once unsuccessfully in this game. In field fly rule existed. Impressive game by Mantle, huge home run, he was only 20 years old here. Jackie Robinson (33 years old) loved to bunt, there was alot of bunting in this game. Phil Rizzuto had a beauty in the 7th. These players can turn the dp just like today - 6/4/3, 4/6/3 - routine. The announcer couldn't figure out what Billy Martin had under his eye lol Mud (Eye black). I guess it wasn't common yet. It was a fun watch but sometime hard to follow because of no graphics - none.
  14. The oldest known surviving complete broadcast of an MLB game available on YouTube, I started watching and I can't stop
