  1. It really irritates me when I see people constantly posting about that. That Al Stump guy did a lot of damage to his reputation. The funny thing is Cap Anson was a huge driving force behind segregating baseball, but Ty Cobb is always the go to person for baseball villain.
  2. I have a random question since there's no Jays game today. Is anyone a big fan of baseball history? I was thinking about getting Ty Cobb: A Terrible Beauty. Does anyone have any books they'd recommend?
  3. Playing with fire here putting the bottom of the order on base
  4. Good job getting out of that. Offense really needs to tack on some runs here. When was the last time the Jays hit a home run?
  5. And now the top of their lineup
  6. Good job limiting the damage especially since he was scuffling a bit there.
  7. Wow. I can't believe that Springer hit got through.
  8. Why did we just gift them an out?
  9. That was a really good AB by Belt
  10. It’s like a whole lineup of Bradley Zimmer at bats, ha ha
  11. Pretty depressing a 5-0 deficit feels insurmountable when we couldn’t hold a 6-0 lead for more than 2 innings yesterday.
  12. Sigh. That Vlady error might end up being the turning point.
  13. Too bad Espinal can’t bunt. This would be a good time.
  14. What on earth are they doing? Come on guys.
  15. And I would have been wrong. Dang their defense cutting that off.
  16. I would have let Varsho bat and pinch hit for Chapman
  17. Nice Varsho! He’s really been making good contact lately.
  18. I’m glad they scored, but only 1 run on 4 hits in an inning is pretty frustrating
