    Varland with his first screw up. Can’t 4 pitch walk the leadoff batter. Too bad the offense keeps putting them in these tight situations.

    Yeah I don't think anyone cares about cutting Seabold. I would definitely hang onto SWR though. He's definitely going to need to eat some innings if we keep letting Scherzer and Corbin start.

    We really need our starters to step up and eat some innings. The bullpen arms are going to burn out quickly (although SWR did a fantastic job yesterday to save some arms). Hope Cease can go at least 6 today, although 7 would be a welcome surprise.

    Way too soon to give up on Vlad. I have to believe he’ll lock in again this season. Springer, on the other hand, needs to be moved down and has to earn his way back to the leadoff spot like last year.
