    The most embarrassing thing about Atkins was when he was on Tim & Friends after the deadline Tim straight up asked him "The Yankess, Astros, Mariners, Twins all got significantly better. Did you do enough at the deadline to compete for a World Series" and he laughed at him. He has zero self awareness and that's his downfall here. Him and Shapiro also ripped Anthoplous "giving up the farm", yet now Atkin's has pretty much sold the farm(what little we actually have from his drafts) and we won't even make the playoffs. At least Alex had us in them.

    Just so we’re on the same page, this team isn’t making the playoffs. Absolute garbage top to bottom.

    This is not a good baseball team and is flawed straight down to the core. They have been floundering since June. Offense has been a mess the last few weeks. Pitching has been a total disaster since May. Zero pitching depth on the farm. Vladdy and Bo are in line for monster contracts soon for a team that already has a hefty payroll. Montoyo is completely out of his depth with roster management. Springer's been hobbling around for weeks. Berrios is Jekyll and Hyde. Vladdy is in his head. Teoscar doesn't care. Bo is nothing special. No leftie bats worth a damn. 8 clones in the bullpen minus Romano. There isn't a team I would pick the Jays to beat if the playoffs were to start tomorrow and they were in it and by August Baltimore will be ahead of us. Bookmark this. Mark my words.

    Probably Walker before anyone else. You can't fire the pitchers especially on those contracts. Every start I hear about how they've "tweaked" something and they come out even worse.

    At this rate we'll be battling the Orioles for fourth. Berrios and Kikuchi are in meltdown mode and Gausman has been Jekyll and Hyde the last month.
