    Really surprising? The bats don’t show up unless they homer. Who really considers this team a great team. So many holes.

    Ya but it’s been the story of the jays franchise. Everyone just seems ok to be competitive and it’s not about winning at all costs. We hear next game, next game, next game until it’s too late. How about try to dominate and expect to win rather than hoping. I hate the excuse it’s a tough league. Yankees are playing in the same league and they are 39-15. The aspirations need to be higher for this franchise.

    Ok. I guess it’s pretty commical losing to a team that is missing a bunch of players. Embarrassing really.

    If you don’t have runners on base, solo home runs do very little. I would rather take Minnesota’s small ball than the homerun. You have to remember, the playoffs change everything. Not as many home runs, more small ball. The team needs to have a few players who fit that mold.

    They really aren’t that good of a club at hitting. Hacking without a purpose. I hate the first pitch swing. Just shows immaturity.

    The problem with the jays is that they continue to build a lineup that is based on home runs. They swing at pitches that are out of the zone continually and they hit a lot of ground balls. They have a ton of games left but it’s games like this where they look back and say that could have been the game to make the playoffs. They need more hitters who get on base consistently. I also think they need a new manager. Country club atmosphere. You see a lot of world series winning clubs taking things more seriously. I think they play around too much.
