  1. Bonds had a walk rate of %32.5 and K rate of %6.6 in about 145 games, in his 17rh season. Had a walk rate of %37.5 and K rate of %7.7 in about 145 games, in his 19th season. Will probably never see anything like that again.
  2. Now that's the kind vaccine promotion I would support!
  3. For f***s sake, you anti-anti-vaxxers are more annoying than anti-vaxxers! Shut the f*** up with it already. I have every vaccine because it's my choice to do so. If you protect yourself and your loved ones, then move along. Honestly, tired of seeing it everywhere and even conversations on a baseball message board spirals into "I have a massive dick because I took the vaccine". Stick to f***ing baseball. I came on here to enjoy talk about the Jays and baseball. But if it's not one person throwing insults at another, it's people who rehash the same f***ing ********! They will never agree with you, and you will never agree with them....despite the fact I'm sure all you who bitch and complain, all have IQs north of 160 and every doctorate available. If you're right, let Darwinism play out, and let the survival of the fittest play out before your eyes. To quote Bo Burnham...."here's a question for you guys. Is it necessary, that every single person on this planet expresses, every opinion they have...or to put it differently, can anyone, can any one person....shut the f*** up....can anyone, any single one, shut the f*** up...about any single thing?!" This is a baseball forum.....
  4. Let's circle back to this "lol" when Ohtani finishes the year at 42 HRs and Guerrero hits 58 bombs.
  5. His comp was a young Adrien Beltre. Not surprising he's killing it so far.
  6. Plus Syndergaard + D'arnaud + Matt Boyd + Graveman. AA hit a homerun with the Donaldson trade, but that was more due to the ineptitude of Beane than anything. The best asset AA had was his aggressiveness. He was in on everyone.
  7. Vladdy is going to win MVP! Ohtani made a big mistake in joining the homerun derby. His bat is going to go cold in the second half.
  8. Where would Hoglund rank in the Jays top prospect list?
  9. Has any of the prospect lists been updated lately? Just curious how far players like Manning and Howard have dropped, and which players have risen since the beginning of the season.
  10. I'm thinking of offering Stripling and Bart for Logan Webb and Larnach. Is that a fair trade?
  11. Thanks. I'll definitely hold off until they're closer to the show. I dropped Manoah at the beginning of the season because I thought he wouldn't be up this year and thought no one would grab him. What an idiot I am! He's looking like the real deal.
  12. Thanks. When it comes to players like Veen and Fransisco Alvarez, when would picking them up make sense? I think they may be a couple years away, but would love to have them on my team. I'm looking to avoid getting them until next year some time and pick them up. Not sure if that's a good strategy for players of that caliber that are years away.
  13. I have Spencer Howard and he's been quite the disappointment. I had to drop Alek Thomas last week and Baz is available and playing very well so far. How would you rank the 3? Also, is Kristen Robinson out for good due to the arrest? Does anyone have an update of his status?
  14. To be fair, I don't think even the prospect hoarders would hold on to our top prospects to get a Donaldson type (coming off 2 years of 7+war and 5+ war) with control for a few years. I'd trade 3 of our top prospects to get a player of that caliber for multiple years.
  15. Yeah, I can move him into my U position and move Alvarez into the OF when he gets eligibility. I have $350 left for the year. And unless a big time player is dropped (which I doubt) the money doesn't mean a whole lot.
  16. Makes sense. Hiura is available in my league. Should I make a bid for him (it's an auction league)?
  17. If they do, sign me up! Could do with a new groin myself.
  18. Just wondering if the update BA rankings were posted here.
  19. Thanks for all the help. How about a package of Suarez, Clevinger, and one of my pitching prospects (Pearson, Meyer, Manning, or Spencer Howard) for Moncada? Too much? Not enough?
  20. Looking at the rosters, I don't think that those teams would bite. What would it take to get Yelich? I'd assume they'd want Carlson back to put in the OF. What other players would be needed to pull him away? And is it worth overpaying to get him?
  21. Just curious why you're low on Clevinger? I thought if he was healthy pitching for the Padres next year, he could do well. That said, I'm all about trading a package like Clevinger, Bart, and Pearson. What sort of player would a package like that get? I kind of weak at 3rd and OF. But would also like a more established P.
  22. Yikes. That would haunt me too. Haha.
  23. Haha. They don't seem to value prospects at all, which is why I was able to get so many top ones. I even put out a feeler saying that I may be open to moving Bart after getting Moreno. Didn't get a bite. Not an offer.
