Quick question: If you KNEW the Jays would fire Montoyo for missing the playoffs, would you rather: 1) Jays make the playoffs, and Montoyo cemented as manager going forward 2) Jays miss, immediately fire Montoyo I honestly think I would choose 2 if we knew he'd be fired. The pain of missing this year would be far eclipsed by my frustrations going forward with him as manager. Obviously I don't think he'd get fired, so I'm rooting for this team to make the playoffs, but I don't know if I can handle another year of Montoyo...
