    Welcome to professional sports. The objective of the game is to win it all and last I checked, this franchise hasnt won since 1993. If guys like Nick Nurse/Masai can be fired after winning a damn championship in 2019 then you can bet your ass this management can be let go. The fact you have such an attachment to them even when durijg times they produce mediocre results is the more concerning part lol

    I recall saying several times before the season started that the Jays have the worst number 2 and 4 hitters in comparison to all contenders. Many of you laughed for me questioning anything about the Blue Jays. Having top end talent is important to get through seasons because you need those type of players to carry your offense at times. Especially when a lot of us were expecting regression (obviously not to this extent). I also mentioned the team desperately needed a high leverage lefty out of the pen with this front offices obsession with lefty/right matchups. In addition, I wanted Hoffman out of the closer role before the season even started. Heck, I wanted him out of that role since last years trade deadline...

    The blame lies somewhere so you tell me what you think the team should be doing? I simply responded saying I agree that JS shouldn't bare all of the blame as theres enough to go around. Players, coaches, management all deserve blame for not meeting expectations for 3 out of the past 4 seasons.

    If Gausman loves Toronto so much, he wont mind being a rental for 2 months while we reload in the offseason. It would be stupid to keep him right now when we're lacking in overall talent.

    No, their points dont stand. We have been trying to win a damn world series, not just scrape by to get into the wild card with results like those. - The 2023 team was painful to watch as we struggled to score runs to be a serious contender. Everyone expected exactly the way our season ended by losing 2 games by scoring like 1 run. - 2024 was a pathetic year in general where we had to sell at the deadline and guys like Vladdy turned it up when the Jays were well out of it. - 2025 started off slow until the Bichette HR and the rest was magical. -2026 entire season has been a slog. Only you would consider the results from our offense a success when we are in our "winning years" with a top 5 payroll. Improve your damn standards man lol.

    I meant 3.5 years from 2023 until now. Im not counting 2022 when we were obviously good. Not sure how you and the other person both stated 2022 in your responses lol. Feel free to tell me that we were a good offensive team in 2023/2024, around half of 2025 and then all of this season.

    It could have helped if JS tried moving Springer and Vlad down in the order temporarily or anything to get a different result. Having the worst offense in baseball would be an Atkins problem for not doing enough to improve on that end but we all know you wont blame him either. This offense has been abysmal for 3.5 out of the past 4 years...

    The use of Little, taking so long to remove Hoffman from the closer role, refusing to remove Springer from leadoff, etc. So many things the Manager could have done that were common sense to most. I still dont pin the entire season on him but he did nothing to help it either.

    This will be a similar retool to what we did in 2024. The Jays are only trading guys who cant help in 2027 so there's 0 chance Varland is going anywhere. Too much money at stake for them to pivot to a rebuild.
