Agreed, there is no need for Jansen to rejoin the big squad until the September call ups. In the offseason, we'll offload one that nets the best return I believe. -
What I find stupid and whiney is people asking why Thorton is on the big club. The obvious answer is that there clearly aren't any better options because if there were, we'd be using them but carry on...

Gurriel showing why he needs to be in the lineup everyday. Dude had 3 hits yesterday and was on the bench for Dickerson? He's been pretty good after his slow start.

Can you blame me when Montoyo makes retarded decisions almost every game? I'm not alone in second guessing him. Dudes logic is puzzling and since Shatkins have kept him around, I just assume they are happy with him so my hate reaches them by extension at times.

When Thorton is being used in any non blowout situation then yes, the sky is falling in my world. Dude is flat out trash.

Almost every team has injuries. We're in a better spot there now than we were before on that front. Tampa has had much worse luck than us on that front, no excuses from them...
