Hoffman would be great in the 7th/8th inning role where you know if hes got it or not. Its the 9th inning where you can usually tell he sucks and we gotta ride with him because hes our "closer" that led him to being one of the worst closers in baseball and set franchise records for the wrong reasons.

Sid was fired from a Rogers brand so not sure theyd want to stay on sportsnet. Maybe they start an independent podcast but I hope they stay on broadcast TV for the easier viewing and bigger budget.

Please god let this be true. The canadian broadcast scene is a joke with just Overdrive, which is strictly a hockey + football picks show. Tim and Sid was my favourite sports show from an entertainment standpoint before Sid left. Ive been hoping theyd get back together for years now.

It also depends on what you define as "clubhouse asses". Most of the 2015/2016 squad had some sort of animosity towards Shatkins on their way out but were loved by AA and the fanbase at the time. Whit/Chapman had similar issues but you can say that almost everyone on our team currently loves playing here. Its a weird one.

You ignored the past where I said Varsho is an extension candidate. If not then the Jays with their 300M payroll who just offered Tucker 350M will find another player that fits. These are big dick swinging, limousine riding, 300M payroll having POWERHOUSE Jays baby!!!!

We got Varsho/Barger/Santander with Lukes as the 4th OFer for this season. 3 of the 4 are under contract past this season with Varsho being a contract extension candidate. What is there exactly to freak out over?

We have a guy who majority feel isnt a closer either and thats with us having a 300M payroll. Heck, many wanted Dominguez to take over the role from Hoffman so we cant be laughing at the White Sox here lol.

I dont like people downplaying his departure like its only a marginal downgrade to Okamoto but how dare you try to censor our Bo talk. He was in the organization for a decade, give us at least a week of mourning... jeez lol.
