    Is Kirk able to throw anyone out? He must be in the bottom of the league in terms of CS%. Yes I know we got one today but man does it look like he struggles greatly in this department.

    This is why he's the perfect DH platoon with Belt and can play the field only in emergency situations.

    It's hilarious how our best hitters are all right handed and yet all I keep hearing is that we need right handed bats loll. How about we get some left handed bats that aren't scrubs? Lol

    We might even see a huge drop off beginning next season when we start losing the likes of Chapman/Hicks/Merrifield/KK with very little resources remaining to replicate their performance.

    f*** it... just go get Nelson Cruz. His subpar numbers would actually be average on this team and immediately becomes our best pinch hitting option.

    Name 1 prospect that AA traded that we regretted in 2015 lol. In the end, seems like a good philosophy to try to capitalize on your windows while you can no matter the expense of your farm system. Let's go get a high end bat like Teo and keep pushing!!

    Damn... wish we could have had more locked up for more than 2 months. He's been an intriguing arm ever since I first saw him in the bigs.

    Is he a guy that we could give a QO for if he pitches like an elite arm down the stretch?

    Osuna/Cecil/Sanchez were a pretty damn elite trio of relievers. Price/Estrada/Stroman was a good trio of SP for a playoff series. I don't expect anything close to the run we made in 2015 so having a better record at the moment probably doesn't as much to me. Good point about the expanded playoffs increasing the price for trades though.

    I obviously didn't mean my comment for only this trade but for the overall situation we're in. We def needed an arm like Hicks so I'm more happy with the big roster than I was before the trade. Just 1 more high impact bat and we're good to go imo.

    Well duhh... it was also the same market price when AA traded for all the guys he did back in 2015 and reportedly got blasted for it.

    Well of course we're better at the major league level. I'm just mentioning how piss poor our "waves of young talent" is looking like in the farm system. This is what Shatkins built their entire motto over. Just found the "all in" moves hilarious when we're not even a better team now than we were back in 2015. That's all lol. Regardless, team this needs 1 more high impact bat and I think we're in a good spot.

    I swear somewhere AA is laughing at Shatkins for the moves they've made the past few years that have led to us having one of the worst Farm Systems in the game. At least when AA did it, we had the best team in baseball on paper. Right now, we could easily still finish last in our division lol.

    Then we just traded an awful lot for less than 2 months of Hicks. You don't give that up unless you think you can bring him back on a reasonable deal.
