It's weird, looking at Bo's stats, they're way better this year than I would've imagined. It seemed in crucial situations that he was always disappointing, but statistically, he had a great year. It didn't feel like it to me.
Yeah, I mean no disrespect to him, but he is the face of the franchise. It's crazy to me that the Jays org haven't been doing all they can to teach him the language. It would be good for the team and MLB overall if he was able to be out there doing more media and stuff.
I know this might be a politically incorrect thing to say, but is Vladdy even trying to learn English? After all these years he still uses a translator. If he's going to be a team leader, he should have a good grasp of the English language.
I feel like Schneider felt "ahh well it's 8-1, this game's locked up anyways". He probably assumed it was an inconsequential move. And you know these managers, they're like robots whenever a pitch count starts nearing 100 regardless of how well the pitcher is pitching. It's very ignorant. Guys like Nolan Ryan threw 200 pitches at times.
lmao maybe they should have felt a little "pressure" and not just thought it was something for tires. Maybe then they would've taken things a little more seriously and not piss away a 7 run lead.
That's why experience matters. This is a good team with a lot of potential and the idiots in the front office keep hiring managers who have never lead a big league team before? Montoyo first time manager, Schneider first time manager... This is a young group, they need a manager with experience.
Just idiocy all around.
