  1. Alright boys, that's enough for me for 1 night. Hopefully I come on later to see a big comeback
  2. Game on the line and Gibby goes with this guy? Kinda dicey.
  3. Angels pen sucks. Come on Jays, rough em up a bit. Also, what the heck is up with Pillar batting 5th?!?! Has Gibby lost it?
  4. f***, Axford suckssssssssssss
  5. Got 50 bones on my birds today as a nice underdog, i hope they can keep it close and come back!
  6. Man, every game I watch it seems like Axford bombs. I can't believe his numbers are as good as they are.
  7. Yeah, I want no part in supporting such nonsense!
  8. I was just gonna ask, wouldn't the game tomorrow be the 3rd Jays game to air exclusively on Facebook so far? How many are they planning on airing that way?
  9. Lol I feel like that happens every season!
  10. Has there been any announcement regarding when the Jays expect Tulo back?
  11. I think when Shapiro and Atkins rebuild their way, that they'll want their own guy at the helm. Pretty standard occurrence when you get new people running the front office.
  12. Too bad we can't play the Orioles every game.
  13. Why is Fangraphs even bothering with this virtue signalling nonsense? They're a statistics site for crying out loud.
  14. ? Not sure what you mean... I'm sorry if I was acting overly negative, it's just been a frustrating season. After the 12-5 start I thought that the team may have had a shot at being competitive, but it's all gone down the tubes in a hurry.
  15. Yeah, that would be awesome. I hope he can bounce back and stay healthy and turn some heads. I'm sure he'll be extra motivated to prove himself so he can get on board with a contender and build up his value for free agency. Time is of the essence though!
  16. I've got a feeling that heads are about to roll in the coaching staff. I hope Gibby sticks around, but I think Atkins and Shapiro will likely want their own guy in there for a rebuild.
  17. Yeah, I think in general that teams aren't going to give away any blue-chip prospects for a rental. Even if Donaldson comes back and has a good month or 2, I don't know that the return would be anything too exciting.
  18. Plenty of other baseball to watch around the league.
  19. That's another thing that sucks. The deadlines always an exciting time for a rebuilding team, but so many of the guys who would've been targeted are having awful seasons or are injured. I mean, Smoak might get us something, but I don't think we're going to get many pieces that we can realistically build around. I suppose J.A Happ is the only guy that we might see a nice return for.
  20. For me, I'm interested to see if Stroman can right the ship and to see if 2016 was an outlier for Aaron Sanchez or not. That's essentially it though. I think one of the main things that I dislike about the current team is the lack of athleticism. They're a slow grip it and rip it team that doesn't even hit home-runs. It's not very entertaining to watch.
  21. Yeah, same. That's kind of what I'm getting at. Watching the Jays everyday has been a routine of mine for nearly 20 years, but now with streaming services and my computer hooked up to my TV, I'm just more excited watching other teams this year.
  22. @Jays4Life: haha I hear you on that! Unfortunately I f***ing SUCK at betting on baseball. It's the sport I know the most about and the league I follow the closest, yet it's sport I'm the worst at betting on... By a big margin lol.
  23. Couldn't agree with you more. I know calling up Vlad wouldn't make sense from a baseball standpoint, but damn, I wish there was something they could do to inject a little excitement into this club.
  24. Yeah, as a hardcore fan, I simply enjoy watching for the sake of it. But lately I've been watching more games around the rest of the league while the Jays are playing. There just isn't anything all that interesting to follow with this club. I wonder how all of the casual fans are going to react. I reckon there must be a ton of band-wagoners jumping off.
