    A's have had a rough travel schedule, and Estrada is the type of pitcher that gives the A's problems. I actually think this is a good night to bet the Jays as a dog... Of course the bullpen is a big question mark, but I think it's worth a shot. Go Jays!

    Ehhhh... Not loving the deal, but considering the circumstances with Rogers, I guess it's as good as one could've hoped for. I'm really not all that excited about Paulino or Perez. Giles is good, but I'd hope for a bigger return for a guy as lights out as Osuna.

    I just get the feeling that Shapiro is going to want his own guy managing the team for a rebuild. The past 2 losing seasons under Gibby will be a convenient excuse.

    No idea what the angle is for Spanky to bet on the Jays right now. The team is a complete mess! I think this will be the last year we see Gibbons at the helm.

    I'm quite happy with the return. It's always easy to be excited by young prospects, but Drury is a proven talent who's put up good numbers when he's healthy. You've gotta like the years of control. Mckinnney is kinda meh but there might be a little potential.

    Been watching a lot of Angels lately... Just by happenstance. I really like the looks of that David Fletcher kid. Looks amazing defensively and has a really nice swing. He has a couple more hits tonight. Just a super accurate cannon of an arm too.

    Bob McCown rips Shapiro and Atkins during the last 18 minutes of the Friday show https://www.sportsnet.ca/590/prime-time-sports/ Bob-Cat also says that Marcus Stroman is a "complete nutcase" and a total punk. Seems like he might be referring to some inside intel or somethng. f***, it sure has been a disappointing year, eh boys?

    Bumgarner hasn't looked very elite this year. Only went 4 innings with 6 walks against the A's today... Yikes!

    Well, Sanchez and Tulo are always injured, so it's not like anyone should've expected much out of them and Donaldson in the lineup wouldn't have made too drastic of a difference. He'd likely just get pitched around anyways as no one else is really producing much with the bat. Looking at the averages of the offensive starters across the board is super ugly. Only 1 regular with an average over 250 and no one with an average over 260. The Mirage is the leader at 257 LOL Shapiro and Atkins deserve a little bit of the heat.

    Man, Jose Ramirez is one of the most underrated players in the game. Dude just hit his 29th jack of the year! He's already at 6.3 before the start of the game and he's only 25!

    Wow, I never would've thought that. I suppose you're right about the base runners. I've noticed that there's not very many guys that grind out at-bats on this team. You watch the Red-Sox and they're always working counts and making the pitcher work. I hate to say it, but the Jays are a bit of a boring team to watch right now.

    Looks like his velocity is down quite a bit this year. That's gotta have an affect on his struggles. There's a big difference between 94.2 and 92.5

    Been a pretty unexciting last 2 seasons. Seems a lot of the band-wagoners have jumped off too. Rogers can't be pleased.

    Jeeze really, there's just no thump in this lineup anymore. One would've figured Jays would mash against Oswalt .

    What do you guys make of Stromans struggle? He still has a great ground-ball and K rate and his advanced metrics are still pretty good.
