  1. Sure, he runs into a few when he plays sparingly, but when he's in the lineup regularly he gets exposed. Montoyo has this habit of completely overreacting to small sample sizes and it's annoying as f***. Remember when he had Zach Collins batting 5th? LOL. And look, I get trying to catch lightning in a bottle, but then having Tapia bat 6th? Come on man...
  2. Insanely small sample size. We all know what Jansen is at this point and to have him hitting in the heart of the order is inexcusable.
  3. Why would anyone get vaccinated at this point? The initial vaccines are already obsolete with the current dominant strains.
  4. Just tuning in, why in Gods name are Jansen and Tapia batting 5th and 6th? Montoyo's gotta go. This is getting absurd.
  5. That's it for me for the night. I can't stand to watch anymore. This team is a mess right now
  6. lmao double plays in all first 3 innings. Man this team is frustrating right now!
  7. I'm really not understanding what Atkins sees in this guy. Was the allure all because he's a lefty? We could use Grichuks bat in the lineup right about now.
  8. Pretty pathetic that Rogers OWNS the team and then doesn't air the game against one of the best players in baseball history. You can't make it up
  9. Man, the umps really are a joke this year. Anderson clearly hits a foul ball off his foot and then legs it out for a single, then the umpshow throws Boone out as soon as he starts arguing.
  10. Why exactly did we trade Grichuk for this guy again? Just because he's a lefty? lol
  11. He's not great, but with Ryu on the downswing of his career, he adds some important depth to the rotation.
  12. Bo dove away from an 89MPH off speed pitch that would've hit him in the shoulder. What's he thinking?!
  13. Bo should've took one for the team there. Down 5. Just let it plunk ya
  14. Absolutely. It's a controversial topic so players are hush hush about it because they don't want to risk losing sponsorship deals. It's good to see society at large moving on from the obsession over who's vaccinated or not. It's kinda sad that Canada is beating a dead horse with this stuff. Trudeau said that the reason the vaccine laws were put in place is because the vaccines stop transmission, but as the data came in and the science changed, Canada for some reason refuses to reanalyze things.
  15. To put it into context. At the peak of the PED ERA, estimate are around that 50-80% of players got prescribed PED's for an ILLEGAL purpose. Yet it's unfathomable that a doctor would lie about administering a vaccine? You guys gotta be trolling me.
  16. Absolutely. It's not every player, but there's a large percentage of players who treat their body like a temple. At this point it's a risk reward thing. These athletes in their 20's are in PEAK health. They're the healthiest people on the planet. Statistically they're at VERY LITTLE risk of having any complications if they were to get covid... Yet you think they're all eager to line up for a vaccine that doesn't even prevent transmission? I'd assume the number of players who didn't get the shot is at least 10% I don't see why this is a controversial opinion.
  17. ehhh. Almost all of the countries in the world have dropped their vaccine restriction laws already since the vaccine does little to prevent transmission. Canada's one of the last ones still holding on to these laws. I don't think getting caught would be as big of an offense as you think.
  18. There's no doubt about it. I'd assume it's way more players than people would expect. For athletes, everything relies on their bodies. Most of these guys won't put anything in their bodies without knowing EVERY ingredient and you're telling me they're all going to line up to take a vaccine that was released within 8 months?
  19. Are they going around blood testing players for this? You think the MLBPA is going to agree with that? You're not seeing this situation realistically.
  20. Lol exactly. I'm surprised that people find this idea so outlandish. Like with Kyrie Irving, he said he was outspoken for ideological reasons. Obviously Kyrie could've just went to a vaccine clinic in the hood and you're telling me he couldn't find a clinician to lie about it? Get real.
  21. lol you don't think doctors can be paid off? Dump the vial in the trash, who's ever going to know? It's not rocket science. It's the EASIEST thing a doctor can do to lie about. Hell, doctors would prescribe players with all sorts of stimulants and PED's. There's very little checks and balances when it comes to doctors.
  22. Lol who would ever know? Doctors have historically hooked players up with all sorts of stuff that isn't kosher
  23. Houck not able to pitch in Toronto... These big-leaguers have access to armies of doctors who'll sign off on anything. I find it hard to believe that they can't find a doctor to sign off on the 2 vaccinations without actually taking them.
