  1. Bobthe4th why would you give a guy a chance in the show for some one who does not deserve it. One ok month does Not earn that shot. And as of now he needs to stay in buffalo stay healthy and get 500 or 600 at bats. Show what he can actually do. As of right now he has not shown nothing.
  2. These young kids on the jays are playing pretty good. With other prospects on the way the team has a very bright future. One of the biggest issues that I see is pitching and the outfield. Every body says Alford is the closes to making the team. But after seven years with the team he is a big bust. With the draft coming up the jays should center the first 12 rounds on pitching and the outfield, as well as first base. The infield is deep as hell. After first base. With Jordan Groshans, Kevin Smith if he can find his grove again, Orelvis Martinez, Miguel Hiraldo, Santiago Espinal, Watch out for Cullen Large. Don't get me wrong we have pitching like Nate Pearson, Eric Pardinho, Adam Klienstein, Josh Winckowski, kid to watch this year will be William Gaston but this team needs more. Some people on here say trade prospects to get starting pitching, sign free agent pitchers. drafting them and developing them is so much better. For this team in Canada drafting them is way better. Control is the way to go.
  3. Pitchers are not the only ones who have Tommy Jone. And players get hurt all the time. For example Dalton Pompey. As of right now the jays are loaded with prospects. But short on pitching. Beside if the jays are going to grow as a team do it from top to bottom. Not as if it is the first time the jays have doner this
  4. A couple other mock drafts have the blue jays taking Alek Monoah. Which is what they need more pitching then any other thing. And More solid outfield prospects. Because the so called top outfield prospect is a big fat bust. Anthony Alford.
  5. People are going to bitch about who ever the blue jays general manager is. Just like in all three Toronto teams. And what they should do with the team. As of right now the blue jays prospects are a lot better then what it was three years ago, And is going to better after the draft. The actually team sucks but will get better. All good teams have to have a solid catcher, a good short, second baseball, and a solid center fielder and built from there.
  6. Let's see. His strike outs are to high for 102 at bats (40). OBP is 263. His SLG is 363. His stole bases for this year is 5, someone with all of his speed should have 3 times that amount. And his OPS is 635. He should Not even be in the top 30 any more.
  7. Blue jays need to add another dsl team. 43 international free agents signed this year. plus the 30 players on it from last year. In long run ready help out the prospects pool.
  8. Anthony Alford hitting .176. After seven years. When is the magic.
  9. Blue jays have 1.5 million to spend on international free agents but they have not used it yet. What are they waiting for. The 2018 international free agent period ends in june. They could always spend it on one player or 15 if not more. Does any body know who they are trying to sign.
  10. Blue jays need a good old ass kicking maybe that will wake them up. Also it's time to release Brito and bring up Revere. And NOT f*** with the line up ever day.
  11. blue jays fav. to sign international free agent Rikelvin De Castro | Rank: 27
  12. You may be right on that but even the jays general manager says team is weak at pitching and outfield prospects. But will have to wait 5 or 6 weeks before the draft to see what happens. But can say one thing about blue jay and leafs fans first thing out of they mouths is always trade the prospects.
  13. For the record pitching is a need. So is the outfield. But pitching is always number one. very thin
  14. Number one thing the blue jays should do with first five draft picks is draft all pitchers. When after that outfielders. Then everything else.
  15. Question. Why is no one talking about how good anthony alford is?
  16. Looks like spring training does not prove anything. Anthony Alford is playing like s*** again. Besides me and a fellow others. Are you starting to see what I have seen all along. Overrated. He should have stayed in football. Hopefully he gets his head out of his ass and finds what other people say he has. Or all this talk about him has gone to his head. Might need a new team to find that it factor.
  17. Really think that the batting order is just not being set up right.
  18. Digitalrock guy I don't know who the hell you are but you are some punk ass kid who knows s*** about baseball or the the blue jays. And as for jimcanuck who i do not have a beef with but that's also what about ten scouts in baseball I have talked to about him believe as well.
  19. Looks like Anthony Alford is on the team for the next couple of days. Until the new guys show up. But let me make myself clear. He should not be with the team just for some what of a good spring training. Totally different pitching. Of minor leagues trying to make impressions. Has to go to Buffalo get between 500 and 600 at bats. And show what he can actually do. WITHOUT GETTING INJURED. And from what I have been reading lately people are starting to see what I have been saying all along. OVERRATED or to much pressure.
  20. Looks like Jordan Romano is headed back to the blue jays, but the rangers would like to trade for him. So the rangers can have him for Demarcus Evans.
  21. bigbounceyblueballs you talking about banning me again.
  22. Really that's what you have to say. At least i have a girl. Unlike you who uses the palm sisters.
  23. Looks like you all jumped the gun again on this kid. No way in hell he would make this team before bo bichette. And maybe the jays want to see what i would like to see a full year with no injuries. And what it actually would look like. But i bet all of you sometime this year he will miss a month maybe two again. And him getting 600 at bats
  24. It's only spring training. It pretty much means nothing. he needs at least two season of being INJURED FREE. And at least 500 at bats maybe more. He will come back down to earth. People have seen this before from other players.
