    The NHL has a similar set up, only a certain number of officials get playoff games and then they whittle it out down each round.

    You know there are defensive metrics right? His defense is second to a lot of people. Goins is an awful hitter, there's no way around it.

    Do I need to rephrase my statement to say that Goins relevant offensive numbers are terrible? I couldn't give a flying f*** about his numbers with RISP when his overall batting line is horrendous.

    I'd say two games would suffice. Like Spanky said, I can appreciate that he was sticking up for a teammate but that was a pretty blatant attempt to injure.

    You can't say a certain player sucks because of a small sample size. You can say a lineup sucks based on half the players having a large sample size of sucking.

    You seem to be overvaluing the weight of your opinion on Osuna's gameplan vs that of the pitching coaches and game callers, not to mention results, all of which don't seem to share your opinion. Again, you can live around the strike zone when you have great stuff and an elite ability to spot it on the black.

    Closers have to come in firing strikes, Osuna's biggest strength is his ability to pound all corners of the strike zone with precision. As long as the command is there he's just fine living around the zone.

    Took him and Strasburg as my two pitcher selections today, looking good so far.

    Last year I said that I liked him better than Robles for some reason. Might not turn out to be so dumb
