    Ohtani makes his first start of the season today - he has to be as good (or better) than pre injury on the mound for the Angels to make it to .500 and the playoffs, though apparently Bundy was excellent in their win yesterday.

    It’s one of the few day games for me (I fell asleep in the 8th inning last night!) so I don’t mind doing it, but no problem if anyone else is itching to - it’s been a long wait for baseball!

    Gaviglio only got one out so it’s an ERA of 81. In such a short season we’re probably going to see some high ERA numbers from relievers after 2 or 3 bad outings when they only have about 20 innings all season! Season stats this year are going to be weird - I wonder how low the MVP’s WAR will be.

    Lots of people have fatigue issues after contracting covid, he’s probably one of the unlucky ones.
