  1. If anyone doesn't like the seats they get (particularly in 500-level), feel free to get in touch. Looking for people to split with.
  2. You have to go through account manager. The cues are really long now. System is archaic and SLOW. Given they don't necessarily share you views as to best available seats it may not matter that there is a delay to get in. I think there isn't a link on purpose so that only existing users try to get in.
  3. Where do you see this breakdown?
  4. I suggested that yesterday on the forum. That wild be ballsy!
  5. How much do you think the promotional giveaways actually cost to have manufactured and shipped? Sunday is a calculated decision. It is a day tons of people can make it to and Saturday is the most popular game across MLB. Brookes tweeted about that before quitting or getting fired or whatever actually happened. A friend of mine actually suggested to move promotions to mid-week and he dismissed it. That being said, there is a new management team in town and they made it clear the promotion schedule is pending. Promotions appear to mainly Saturday's in Cleveland. To me, it would seem smartest to assign promotional games after a lot of the market has bought their packs. It would be unpopular, but would increase revenue for sure. They've made a lot of unpopular moves so far, in many cases justifiably so. Wouldn't shock me to see a move made in this direction.
  6. It actually looks like a good system (at least the 20 game pack does). It used to be that scalpers bought flex packs instead of season tickets. They'd get only Saturday's, Sunday's (giveaway days), Canada Day, the home opener and maybe some Red Sox and Yankees games in July and August. They'd pay the same for the most in demand games as the ones where nobody shows up. Then they'd sell them at whatever market rate they could. Now the in demand games will be more expensive to buy from the team and there will be less upside for the scalpers. That's good for fans. Also, if you don't care for those more in demand games you can pay less than what season ticket holders pay per game and just go to the C and D games. As a season ticket holder I'm annoyed by this new system because for a 20-game commitment you can pay 12 bucks a seat for 20 games in the 500s whereas I have to pay 17 per game. The team would contend that my pack includes premium games so that's why I pay more and I get that/ not actually complaining. Just some food for thought.
  7. I have a Presale code. Not really much I want left. Can discuss a deal with you at face (cost) if you agree to buy tickets for next year too.
  8. Some people must have sets of 10 season tickets in a row. I suspect they made a killing this year...and probably several thousand per playoff game.
  9. There's no code or anything. It's through your account- opens at 10 am.
  10. To clarify: -They explicitly say that you CANNOT exchange after the game, which is probably why they have the 10 hour before game time exchange rule now (vs. 24 hours previously). -Once you lock in (sign up/ pay deposit) you are locked in-- they just say prices subject to change so they can change them without consequence before on-sale (or after on-sale for people that go on to buy if demand is high).
  11. If you go on a payment plan you still get the discount. It is based on when you commit to renew, not paying in full. I suspect there will be a separate pay in full incentive like there was this past year. In 2016 if you paid in full by some date they chose in December they gave a $200 credit toward concessions. It was great for people like me in the 500 level (almost a 10% rebate) but probably not worth it for those with more expensive seats as far as a return on your money was concerned.
  12. I was shocked at how many bobbleheads were available an hour after gates opened. Lines died down at many gates before noon. I'm pretty sure I walked by some gates that still had the bobbleheads available around noon (I bet some of the busier gates were "sold out" though). I suspect Donaldson bobblehead was just more desireable than this one. It was cool that three players were on it, but I still can't figure out why those 3 guys were chosen together for the same figurine.
  13. I've never done the edge walk but everyone I know that has really loved it and got great photos. I suspect it's expensive, but I'd do that over dinner at the CN tower!
  14. Don't bother w/ CN tower meal. It's expensive and generally not special. If you want to go up then do it without the meal. If you want a panoramic view of the city, another option would be to go to one of these restaurants. I've been to The One Eighty (51st floor) with a lot of people from out of town and they all have liked it. You can grab a drink there and check out the sights. It's also nice because it's in a good area to walk around (Yorkville). The Park Hyatt was suggested by another poster and makes this list too-- also a good place for a drink. http://www.seetorontonow.com/cuisine/5-toronto-restaurants-with-a-view/
  15. Sounds like you've been to two games then!
  16. Definitely ditch the car when in Toronto. You'll pay more for parking than what you'd pay for TTC/ Cab/ Uber almost certainly. Plus Toronto traffic is a real pain. If it's nice out walk and TTC/Uber around!!!
  17. In terms of accommodations, I'd go to the distillery district or by the park. Distillery district is a nice area with a good night life and great restaurants. It's an easy walk to the game. Nothing wrong with the convenience of being near the park either, of course! I would be very careful with Kijiji. It's not even two weeks into the season and I already know multiple people that have been duped that way. Airport to downtown UP is your best bet... they recently reduced rates substantially. If you plan to use UP then staying near the dome (near Union Station) is the way to go so you don't have to carry your bags around as much. WestJet Flight Deck has big lines to get in. Promotion games like Sunday in particular are bad that way. You'll have a better chance with the flight deck on non-weekend games. I have season tickets and I think I have some of the games left for that series. I also think I may be out of town that weekend, so if you're looking for tickets let me know-- I may be able to help you out (and my seats are way better than the overpriced crap on stubhub). Feel free to private message me and we can figure something out.
  18. I enjoy competitive baseball.
  19. Just under 12 hours until first pitch and I'm very excited for the home opener. Anyone else a little disappointed David Price won't be pitching? It looks like he's going to be pushed buck until Monday vs. Baltimore because Boston/Cleveland got rained out again yesterday.
  20. stream2watch.co/sports/baseball
  21. seemed too good to be true!
  22. Happ has pitched 1 ball through 3 innings. That's pretty impressive.
  23. Check stubhub... prices are down considerably and probably will drop further over next week or so.
