Okay, I guess I'm in the "hope the Tigers win" camp. John Schneider won't be able to out manage AJ Hinch as well as he did with Aaron Boone. On another note, it is interesting how on the Yankees boards they are talking about how Boone doesn't actually make the decisions in game but that it comes from Cashman and the Operations group. Very similar to the talk around John Schneider during the Jays playoffs debacles. What comes around goes around.

Sure but if he stays healthy he could be a force into his late 30's. He is that good. In fact, he may be the best RH hitter I have ever seen.

Sure but just 1700 ab's in his career. He could still develop into something. The magnifying glass on players is just so big in NY though.

I don't think Aaron Judge is going to have the steep decline with the bat that many other players get plagued with. Rather it his injury potential. That big body of his and the forearm issues he had this year could be a harbinger of things to come if the Yankees don't start DH'ing him a lot more. Stanton has a buyout clause in 2028 so the Yankees have to make some strategic decisions if they want to win a championship in the Judge era.

I watched an abbreviated version of this game just to relive the Yankees pain. Little and Hoffman made me nervous all over again even though I knew the outcome. -

The Jays played error free baseball tonight. The Yankees made one error but it ended up being significant. Couldn't happen to a better guy than Jazz "we're the best team in the league" Chisholm.
