I can remember after 2022 so many of us on this board not happy with Vladdy's season but we chalked it up to a down year with 2021 fresh in our minds. It was after 2023, as you say, when the reality hit home that maybe Vladdy wasn't who we thought and his MVP calibre year was an anomaly. It's been downhill from there.
That said I don't find a lot of posters on here "miserable SOBs". By the same token I don't find the homers overly positive. Most of the guys on here accused of being apologists for the team have s*** on Atkins, Vladdy,etc. multiple times. Myself included. If someone can't see that then it's a comprehension issue.
Most of the pessimists in here I accept as Jays fans but just really pissed at the outcome vs their expectations.
Yeah, there are some nutcases on the board but everyone knows who they are and give them a wide berth. Like every other baseball message board.
The old you're a homer line doesn't hold water, and to be frank, is getting pretty stale. Everyone on this board wants changes to this Blue Jay org, just that we differ on the strategy.
