    Don't underestimate alpha Ross Atkins, he's going to get Dennis Santana from the Pirates as well as Bednar.

    I wonder how this deal went down? Did someone from the Jays walk over to the front office of the Orioles and say, "hey, you got anyone for game 2 for us? We just kicked Green to the curb." Dominguez can still throw smoke.

    They should be looking at what the rotation would be in a playoff series. Matz would be of no benefit to us, so not a good strategy.

    Well I guess the implication is that there is only so much prospect/player capital so using it to get the most impactful return is paramount. Right now that means bullpen arms or a tor starter. That said, when it comes to Cleveland, Atkins seems to have special lines of communication to get a deal done.

    Could be too high of a risk with Iglesias (is he washed as a 35 year old?). For strictly a rental with an expiring contract he would have to come cheap; otherwise it would be a no for me.
