I won't disagree that the Jays pitchers in general don't hold base runners well. It's an ongoing problem. But he simply doesn't have the arm strength to compensate. I didn't portray him as hopeless. He's just not good enough of a Catcher to warrant him being rostered if he's going to OPS sub ,400. Once Kirk's back and Valenzuela is the backup who actually some pop, arm strength, and does most of the things Heineman does already the Blue Jays are a better Baseball team.
