    His last 3 starts he didn't have the dependence on the 2SM. He returned to his crap philosophy tonight and returned to his April results, only amplified.

    More f***ing 1-2 2SM..

    It's easier to lay off a breaking ball when everything is down.

    More sinkers, more pitching to contact, more BABIP.

    The 4SM is a different issue. When you're tossing a lot of 2SM and then go up with a 4SM, the hitter will usually swing under it because their expecting sink.

    Well he just got 2 whiffs using it in good counts.

    We complain he's pitching to contact because he is. The guy is throwing multiple 0-2, 1-2 2SM, it's ridiculous. If he's sequencing his pitches well, then he can still flourish with subpar command, because of the life to his pitches, in a similar vein to Sanchez, only better command tonight.
