  1. Really? There are no markings for designated seats? Weird. How was the atmosphere/view for a playoff game?
  2. Ya, I've never sat there for even a normal game. They were marginally more expensive than 500 level premium tickets. I want to say 71 a ticket
  3. Just curious if anyone has sat (stood) at the flight deck for a playoff game? I was able to get a few tickets for each round, but got 4 tickets to the possible wild card game row 1 of flight deck. Generally decent? I know it fills up quickly during normal games, I just don't know how the designate spots during playoffs
  4. haha thanks... your unfortunate mishap has me cautious.. Thanks
  5. Just double checking.... I can select print at home and then just save the pdf as usual, but then email it to my brother and he can print with no issues? thanks
  6. Listed mine for 190 US thinking it'd give me time to convince myself to miss the afternoon teaching and attend. Oddly they sold in Sec 523 row 15 almost ten minutes after I listed.. Meanwhile there were row 12 for $160 there. Lucky I guess? Decision made for me. They better win now though!
  7. I'd go as far as to say that you'll see that come Wednesday.
  8. Can anyone answer me whether stubhub sends a check in USD or convert it to CAD? How does that work?
  9. Also, quick question.... When you get a check sent by stubhub is it in US or Canadian $? I know prices listed are USD but wondering what the check is in?
  10. Just for people curious. I listed mine today on stubhub in 523r row 15 for 165 a ticket for game 1 and sold within the hour. just went five bucks under the lowest priced in the section. Prices have came down marginally and I think we could see another dip if the game time is early. Hopefully we win the division and get the yankees or the angels. Hopefully that'd bump us into primetime.
  11. Agreed, but I was saying that if things were to stay as is we'd have a good shot at getting primetime against either team.
  12. I think people might be underestimating the jays in terms of media coverage come playoffs. First of all, if things stay as is and we get either the Angel, or the Yankees I think we have a very good chance of seeing the games played in the evening. The jays fan base is 35 million, more than most states. We are loaded with players who hit the ever important "long ball" that TV ratings love. I'm not saying we take precedence over bigger market teams automatically, but I don't think the jays are surely to be shunned to the worse time slot.
  13. What knowledge do you have that any "new poster" is a casual fan. If someone doesn't post on the ONE message board that is frequented by jays fans, then they are simply a bandwagon jumper? That's a laughable statement in and of itself. Simply put, the jays have sucked for a long, long, long time. I think it is pretty clear that the hype around the team is currently justified and people who may follow the jays are now making more of an effort to travel to Toronto, buy 15 dollar beers and watch the game. I would guess most people on here can't technically afford an entire postseason strip, so hoping to go to a few games, while selling other tickets to break even is supply and demand at it's finest. The beauty of living in a free market society! No one is on here trying to bully people into buying their seats, or being underhanded about it. It all appears very black and white to me. When you head to the dome if the jays make the playoffs be sure to wear your shirt that has big bold letters on the back that says "biggest jays fan".... Just so people don't get confused into thinking they are on your level.
  14. It's not even a case of them being too far behind. It's run through ticketmaster, who offer this (as I'm sure you know) for the regular season games. It's simply due to a lack of giving a s*** and simply looking to capitalize on this run. Comes down to just a lack of effort on the jays part to make the presales fair and beneficial for those people who support the team the most. What's most ironic is that the team, building and tv network are all owned by a GIANT communications giant, who, with any luck, will get a taste of karma in that not too distant future. As mentioned, if I were a flex pack buyer and I see all these people who purchased last minute, or after Dec get better seats than me I would call up a ticket agent today and demand it be corrected.
  15. For those of you who are unhappy... Why not call and bitch about the brutal way in which tickets were distributed. This is rogers we are talking about! I call AT LEAST once a year to get my bills lowered and never have a problem. The odd time it may take me until agent number two to get anything credited etc, but always come out of it happy. I know it was noted someone else had done this successfully and then unsuccessfully as well, but can't hurt to try... Maybe get a ticket agent in a good mood. I'd threaten not to do flex packs again. Stop organizing group tickets... Hell, I'd even threaten to switch to bell for my mobile, tv etc. Worth a shot IMO
