    Yup. But if he had a good OBP, the ability to slug, coupled with his defense, he'd be elite...and no one is saying that. He's below average with the bat...the his defense is in the elite territory. With this current offense, and with what he brings on the field from a defensive standpoint, he's a good fit for the 2015 team.

    So what you're saying is the argument has never been made that a player will sign somewhere because it's closer to home or because it'll give him a 'better chance to win'? You're gonna hear the 'winning' argument a thousand times for when it's time to go after David Price.

    Because he has his money now...As much as people like to think that winning is a big factor in where players are more likely to sign as FA's, money is always #1, 2, and 3 on the list. Winning, and closeness to home are closer to 5-6 on the list. Reyes has his money...now he's looking at the winning part.

    Was just about to post something like this. They know exactly what they need to work on. Delabar needs to work on FB command. In, out...up, and down in the strikezone. He doesn't know that? Tell him to check any Blue Jays forum on the internet to see what he needs to work on.
