So? Plenty of high schoolers start in the Appalachian League. He could've just as easily started there instead of the GCL. It's not a massive jump. Thus, a promo wouldn't be unheard of. It's most likely some sort of injury though.

It would be better if he was actually good. This is probably a blessing for Ottawa.

I think part of it is that they don't want to disrupt their established teams that have already been playing full time together for 2 1/2 months. It would be a bit of a slap in the face of the guy that's been playing full time all season.
