    Ya. I just don't get what they're doing. This is a superstar driven league. You really can't win without one. Raptors aren't going to sign one... Trading for one is challenging... You really need to draft one, and they refuse to bottom out and draft high. This team has some interesting pieces, but they'll likely just remain interesting. Feels like they are ok with settling for mediocrity right now.

    He's worth over $100m but they have a cap as well so the max is somewhere in the 60s if I'm not mistaken right now

    Not the biggest fan of 4 years or the $2.4m AAV.

    Tough to stay in a ML rotation if all you have is a decent FB, with solid control. He has a changeup that he flashes as above average, but that can't be his 2nd pitch. Not having a reliable breaking pitch is not a good recipe for a starter. Can't even remember if he throws a curve, that's how sparsely he must use it, if it even exists. That slider must be found for any future success to occur

    2023 is a write-off. But I'm very curious to see what Manoah does with this season. It's his opportunity to show the world who he truly is heading into 2024.

    I'd be pretty surprised. He's probably looking for something in the 4/$20m range. Would not be a smart move for the Leafs to do anything like that.
