    Melnyk was on the radio throwing shade at the Leafs rebuild saying they forgot about the defence and they won't win with this defence. While he's not wrong, that defence is their weakness... Really? Melnyk has an opinion about another club? Melnyk? Lol!!! Talk about trying to create a distraction from his own gong show off an organization. Look in the mirror and keep your trap closed, Eugene. What a clown. I bet that Sens fan regrets donating a kidney to him or whatever it was.

    Pearson: FB - 75 Slider - 55 Changeup - 50 Murphy: Fastball - 60 Curveball -- 55 Changeup - 45 Until you acknowledge that Pearson's secondary stuff is very good too there's nothing more to talk about. I like Murphy more than most, but he isn't a better prospect than Pearson... At least not today. Could it happen in the future? Of course. Prospects move up and down all the time... But that isn't the case now.

    Vladdy will not be the best rookie on the Jays this season. Stroman will be traded by the deadline (OK...not bold, but I still want it to happen) Troy Tulowitzki will get at least 400 AB's this season. Baltimore will have a better record than the Jays. The Boston Red Sox will finish 3rd in the division.

    It really depends on what they see in him. If they really think he had a high ceiling, then hanging on to him in a nothing season, and giving him limited innings, while he gets Major League instruction all season, could actually work out.

    Holy shitballs! I wonder how Harper feels about this. Double whammy for him. His plan of courting Trout in the off-season goes out the window, and Trout's deal absolutely DWARFS his.

    Not sarcastic at all. These are kids. Not only is nutrition critical for a pro athlete, it's important for us all. These are life skills that they can take with them regardless of how their baseball careers pan out.

    30+ games is not a small sample size. Whatever dude. Bury your head in the sand if that's what works for you. This team has been trending in the wrong direction for almost 3 months now.

    Dude. Wake up. If you take these last 4 out, to make you happy....they're 16-11-3...which is a 95.67 point pace. The last wildcard spot is being held by Columbus....they're on a 95.67 point pace this season. That's a scrape in by the skin of your teeth pace. NOT GOOD ENOUGH.
